E282: AI Partner Show helps Microsoft Partners adopt Copilots and Agents

Artificial intelligence is transforming the Microsoft Partner channel, but many firms still struggle to keep pace with the rapid rollout of Copilots and Agents. A new program, the AI Business Solutions Partner Show, hopes to close that gap.

Having launched today in collaboration with MSDynamicsWorld, the monthly broadcast spotlights how Partners can apply Microsoft’s AI innovations in real-world customer scenarios. The series features Microsoft executives, industry leaders and solution experts offering guidance on both strategy and execution.

A safe place to learn and experiment

Tracy Beyer, senior manager at TD Synnex for Microsoft Cloud, said the program is designed to give Partners confidence with tools such as Copilot Studio and the Power Platform.

“The goal is to have all Partners feel comfortable leveraging all the Agents that have come out,” Beyer told PartnerTalks. “Really focusing on Copilot Studio and Power Apps and Power Platform to build and help them customize, or just leverage, the existing Agents that Microsoft has created.”

TD Synnex has rolled out Cloud Labs, virtual tenants where Partners can try Business Central, experiment with Copilot Studio or invite customers in for live demonstrations. The labs are meant to serve as a sandbox environment where Partners can test scenarios before introducing them to clients.

Meeting Partners where they are

Beyer acknowledged that many Partners already use AI internally, but building customer-facing Agents is a new frontier.

“Each customer is unique and that is the prep that they’re concerned about being ready for,” she said.

Community Summit tie-in

The debut of the AI Partner Show, on Sept. 26, comes just ahead of Community Summit North America, scheduled for Oct. 19–23 in Orlando. Beyer said she and her team will be on site, demonstrating Cloud Labs, promoting a Copilot build-a-thon and connecting directly with Partners.

“The most important thing around Community Summit is actually meeting that community,” she said. “Being there face to face, sitting down and speaking with them, maybe having a bite to eat with them, I think, is the most important thing.”

Lowering barriers to AI adoption

For Beyer, the AI Partner Show is part of a larger effort to make Microsoft’s AI strategy accessible.

“Everybody uses AI today,” she said. “It’s just the next version of being able to actually take shortcuts within your company business so that they can be more proactive.”
